Description
Carbon steel coil is an iron-carbon alloy with a carbon content of 0.0218% to 2.11%. Also known as carbon steel. Generally also contain a small amount of silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus. Generally, the higher the carbon content in carbon steel, the greater the hardness and the higher the strength, but the lower the plasticity.
Q235 is a carbon structural steel with a yield strength of 235 MPa. As a widely used engineering material, it possesses good strength and formability, and is commonly used in the manufacture of building structures, motorcycle frames, and other applications.
This steel is produced from slabs (mainly continuously cast slabs) as raw material, which are heated and then rolled into strip steel using roughing and finishing mills. The hot steel strip output from the finishing mill is cooled to a set temperature via a laminar flow cooling system, and then coiled into Q235 carbon steel coils by a coiler.
Depending on customer requirements, the cooled steel coils can be further processed into steel plates, flat coils, or slit strips through a finishing line.

Features
High carbon steel is steel that has been tempered for a long time and has a high carbon content. Its main uses are general bearings, tools, guide rails, steel frame molds (for steel forming) and steel doors. For Q235A and Q235B, the material density is 7.85g/cm3. “Q” is the first letter of the Chinese pinyin of “Qu Fu Dian”, translated as yield strength. The latest standard of Q235 steel is GB/T 700-2006, the chemical composition and physical properties are equivalent to ASTM A283/A283M Grade C, ASTM A1011/A1011M CS Type B; JIS G3101 SS330, JIS G3131 SPHC.
