Description
Carbon steel flat bars are rectangular steel rods commonly used in structural applications such as support beams, bracing, and framing. They come in a variety of sizes and thicknesses and can be cut, formed, and welded into a variety of shapes and configurations. A36 hot rolled flat bar or flat stock is the best choice for most machining techniques. A36 hot-rolled flat bar has a rough blue-gray surface, dull rounded edges, and is dimensionally imprecise throughout its length.
The A36 material is mild steel, commonly known as mild steel, that is durable and durable. Common applications include shelving, sculpture, trim, supports, and brackets. ASTM A36/A36M-08 is a standard specification for carbon structural steel.
