Generally, after polishing, the ordinary effect is 6K, the fine grinding effect is 8K, and the ultrafine grinding effect is 10K. As the K value increases, the process requirements increase, and the price also increases. Coarse polishing: Grind back and forth with 600# sandpaper to remove all kinds of collisions between the solder joints and the previous process left after the pipe fittings are welded, so that the welding joints initially form rounded corners. Semi-finish polishing: Grind back and forth with 800# sandpaper. It is to correct the joints in the previous process, further traces after rough grinding, fine polishing: use 1000# sandpaper to grind the stainless steel welded pipe back and forth, the purpose is to repair and grind the fine lines produced after polishing, so that the joint between the grinding part and the non-grinding part The seam basically disappears. Mirror polishing generally uses hair wheels, and with Daqing wax imitating the former processing method, the mirror surface is processed to achieve the mirror surface after the previous processing. Then wipe its surface with a clean cotton cloth to reflect 6K or 8K or even 10K.

Description

8k is actually a surface treatment standard for stainless steel. The surface of the stainless steel tube is polished and ground, and the surface is as bright as a mirror, which can reflect objects and people, which is called mirror surface 8K. Everyone knows that stainless steel pipe is a kind of chromium-nickel alloy steel, and “8” in 8k refers to the proportion of alloy components (304 stainless steel mainly refers to the content of nickel element), and “k” refers to the reflectivity level after polishing (K level is specular reflection level). Therefore, the 8K mirror surface is also the mirror surface level reflected by the chrome-nickel alloy steel.
In addition, according to the fineness of the stainless steel surface, 6k, 10k, and other stainless steel tubes are also extended. The larger the number, the higher the surface fineness. But it’s not that the higher the surface fineness, the better the stainless steel pipe, the main thing is suitability. However, the higher the value of k, the higher the process requirements and the higher the price for sure.
