Description

304 and 304L are mainly different in carbon content. 304 is eligible if it contains less than 008 carbon, while 304L is eligible if it contains less than 0.03 carbon. Carbon content is a bit more popular is the height of the hybrid quality, the lower the carbon content, the better the corrosion resistance, so 304L is a bit more expensive than 304.

After hot rolling, the non-metallic inclusions (primarily sulfides and oxides, as well as silicates) in the steel are laminated and layered. Delamination greatly worsens the tensile function of the steel along the thickness direction and may present interlaminar tearing when the weld is shortened. The partial strain induced by weld shortening often reaches several times the yield point strain, which is much larger than the strain induced by the load.

3. The free change stiffness of the hot-rolled section is higher than that of the cold-rolled section, so the torsion resistance of the hot-rolled section is better than that of the cold-rolled section.
